Palliative care patients can be treated at home under new pilot program

Palliative care patients who call 9-1-1 will no longer have to be transported to hospital under a pilot project announced this week by the provincial government. MPPs Norman Miller (PC – Parry Sound-Muskoka) and Vic Fedeli (PC – Nipissing) provided details on the pilot project for Northeastern Ontario during an online press conference Thursday.
